Positions Available

School Bus Drivers safely transport passengers and students to and from school, field trips, or extracurricular activities. You will build rapport with both students and parents, perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure your bus is clean and well-maintained, and resolve any emergency or non-emergency situations that occur on the way.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive school buses on scheduled routes in accordance with schedules and/or trips in support of district-approved activities.
  • Operate and service all school bus equipment and accessories, including a 2-way radio.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of students, releasing students only to authorized individuals.
  • Conduct daily safety and operational inspections; assure the bus is in safe and clean operating condition and report any mechanical repairs.
  • Establish drop-off and pickup orders of assigned students, conferring with staff to adjust routes as needed.
  • Attend assigned meetings and in-service training.
  • Maintain accurate route sheets and complete daily check sheets and vehicle repair sheets.
  • Communicate with passengers, school officials, parents/guardians, and the public with the utmost courtesy and respect.
  • Follow all student disciplinary rules and procedures defined by the school department.
  • Adhere to the company’s Accident Policy and Procedures and report incidents promptly.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Must have three (3) years of driving experience.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.

School Van Drivers safely transport special needs students to and from school, field trips, or extracurricular activities. Like our bus drivers, you will build rapport with students and parents while ensuring your vehicle is safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive school vans on scheduled routes or district-approved trips.
  • Oversee loading/unloading; assure that safety belts, wheelchair straps, harnesses, and harness straps are securely fastened.
  • May be required to operate a wheelchair lift and related equipment.
  • Operate all school van equipment and accessories, including a two-way radio.
  • Conduct daily safety and operational vehicle inspections; maintain cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
  • Report needed mechanical repairs and complete vehicle repair/check sheets daily.
  • Notify appropriate individuals of any delays in the scheduled route.
  • Maintain a variety of records, reports, and accurate route sheets.
  • Communicate respectfully with passengers, school officials, parents/guardians, and the public.
  • Follow all student disciplinary rules and adhere strictly to company safety/accident policies.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Must have three (3) years of driving experience.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.

The Bus Monitor’s primary responsibility is to assist the driver in providing safe and orderly transportation services to students. The monitor would support the needs of students during routine and emergency situations and effectively supervise and manage the behavior of the students. Observe and interact with students to maintain and reinforce safe practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Rides the assigned van route to ensure proper and safe behavior of the students.
  • Assists with loading and unloading of students.
  • Monitors conduct to maintain discipline and safety, reports any concerns with behavior.
  • Documents any incidents occurred on the bus.
  • Participates in school bus safety drills.
  • Maintains familiarity with driver stops and routing.
  • Checks the vehicle to assure there are no students remaining on the bus at the end of each route.
  • Attends all training opportunities as provided and staff meetings when necessary.
  • Works closely with the driver to learn students and expectations of the van.

We will train you. We provide on-site training to obtain your CDL or 7-D at our headquarters in Taunton, MA.
