Experience a taste of Vermont on this 3 day tour.
Day 1: This morning, we will begin our journey to Stowe, Vermont. We will stop at a Country Store or two along the scenic trip. Upon arrival in Stowe, we will check into our hotel, the Inn at the Mountain. This hotel is located at the base of Vermont's highest Peak. You will fall in love with the breathtaking views of the Mt Mansfield State Forest. This afternoon, enjoy a welcome reception with cider and cookies and then settle into your spacious room. Each room features mountainside lodging with balconies or decks to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Tonight, enjoy a 3 course dinner at the inn. (D)
Day 2: Dine on a hearty Vermont breakfast buffet this morning before a day of all things Vermont. After breakfast, we will depart for Shelburne, Vermont for a visit to the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. On our guided tour, we will learn the bear making process from start to finish. We will even make a stop at the Bear Hospital. This fun tour will surely be an experience. After the tour and time in the gift shop, we will stop in Burlington for free time and lunch on own. This afternoon, we will continue our Taste of Vermont tour with a visit to the Cabot Cheese Annex in Waterbury. Nosh on Cabot Cheese and Lake Champlain Chocolates while tasting wines from Snow Farm Vineyard. We will make one last stop for our senses at Ben & Jerry's before returning to the hotel. Experience the ice cream making process with a guided tour followed by a sample of the flavor of the day. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant. (B,D)
Day 3: Wake up and relax over a full breakfast buffet before checking out of the hotel. We have two more stops on our Taste of Vermont tour before departing for home. Our first will be a visit to Green Mountain Coffee. Here we will taste a sampling of their specialty coffee and receive a home roasting demonstration. A single pot package of coffee will be yours to take home. After, our trip to Green Mountain Coffee, we will continue our journey to Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Our
representative will board the coach for history and highlights of the Mill. We will then taste Fresh Apple Cider as we learn how it is made. Stop at the gift shop for some last minute treats before your journey home. (B)
