Day 1: Experience Ocean City from the balcony of your oceanfront hotel room. We will be staying at the Dunes Manor Hotel, located on the oceanfront, just one block from the Boardwalk. You will love the location of this fabulous hotel. After a day of traveling, relax in oversized rocking chairs on the verandah of this Victorian hotel. Tonight, dinner will be served in the hotel's Oceanfront Victorian Room. (D)
Day 2: This morning, a breakfast buffet will be served in our hotel. After breakfast, we will go on a guided tour of Ocean City and make a stop at the Ocean City Life Saving Museum. Don't forget to see the Mermaid Collection, Shipwreck Artifacts and Bathing Fashions. Free time will be given for lunch on own in downtown Ocean City before meeting again this afternoon for a cruise of Assateague Island. Assateague Island is famous for its wild ponies that roam freely. After the cruise, we will return to the hotel to freshen up before dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, take a walk on the beach and breathe in the fresh Atlantic Ocean air. (B,D)
Day 3: We will board the motorcoach for Annapolis after breakfast. Our visit to the United States Naval Academy will begin at the Visitor's Center. This center overlooks Annapolis Harbor and Chesapeake Bay. After a short film we will depart on a historical tour. Highlights include a stop at Lejeune Hall, Dahlgren Hall, Bancroft Hall, Herndon Monument, the Main Chapel, and a visit to the crypt of Revolutionary War Hero John Paul Jones. Lunch will be included in Annapolis today. This afternoon, we will return to the hotel. Socialize over the complimentary tea served in the lobby of the hotel. This evening, you will be on your own to explore Ocean City and its Boardwalk. (B,L)
Day 4: You will check out of the Dunes this morning after a full breakfast to depart for home. (B)
