Day 1: Our destination this morning will be Corning, NY.  Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel, the Radisson. After freshening up, we will depart for an Italian dinner at Sorge's Restaurant. After the dinner, we will return to the hotel. Enjoy the hotel's amenities such as the Jacuzzi, indoor swimming pool and fitness center before a restful sleep. (D)

Day 2: After an included breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the Corning Museum of Glass. Here, we will have a guided tour of the museum, followed by  a plated lunch. This tour will include a Hot Glass Show where skilled lamp worker artists will create delicately detailed animals out of Pyrex Glass Rods. This afternoon, you will become the artist as you create frosted designs on a drinking glass. This glass will be yours to keep.  After the Corning Museum, we depart for the Rockwell Museum of Western Art. This museum is home to the largest collection of Native American and Western Art on the East Coast. Tonight, you will have free time in the Gaffer district of Corning for shopping and dinner. This area has more than 100 shops, outlets, boutiques, antique stores, hot glass studios and art galleries. (B, L)

 

Day 3: Enjoy a full breakfast at our hotel before departing for Hammondsport.  Our first stop will be the Bully Hill Vineyard. Upon arrival, we will visit the museum. After the museum,  we will go on a tour of the vineyard. We will learn the wine making process  and why Keuka Lake is ideal for making wine. After the tour, we will enjoy a tasting. You will have time for lunch on own at the restaurant before departing.  This afternoon,  we will take you to Pleasant Valley Wine Company. This winery was established in 1860. We will take a tour of the vineyard and have another tasting.  Tonight,  we will have a dinner cruise on Keuka Lake.  We will be cruising on a 65 foot wooden cruising vessel. This is the perfect way to end your relaxing day. (B, D)

 

Day 4: After breakfast, we will say goodbye to Corning. We will stop in Elmira, NY for a Twain Country Tour.  The Finger Lakes are also home to Mark Twain. On this tour, you will visit where Mark Twain lived and wrote as well as Civil War sites. After the tour, we will depart for home.
