Spend a weekend in Boothbay Harbor, Maine with Bloom Tours. See why Maine is really "the way life should be". This serene destination will leave you rested and relaxed and full of fond memories.
Day 1: We will depart in the morning and stop for lunch (on own) in Portland. We will arrive in Boothbay in the early afternoon. Upon arrival, we will check in to the Boothbay Harbor Inn overlooking the harbor. Spend some time enjoying the scenery as the boats come in and out of the harbor. This evening, you will enjoy an included dinner in the Inn's scenic dining room. After dinner, take in some live entertainment in the hotels lobby before getting some rest.
Day 2: After an included full breakfast, you will be given a tour of Ocean Point which is one of the most scenic spots in Maine. Following the tour, you will depart on a harbor cruise of Boothbay Harbor and the neighboring islands. Be sure to bring your camera as these are sights you will not want to forget. After a day of touring, you will surely have worked up an appetite. Feast on a traditional Down East Clambake including lobster, steamers and mussels. There will be an alternate meal choice available for those who do not eat seafood. You will have the rest of the afternoon to yourself. Cross the footbridge into town to shop or just sit by the water and enjoy the views. This evening you will enjoy another included dinner at the inn and an evening of cabaret.
Day 3: Wake up and relish one last meal overlooking the water. After breakfast, we will depart for Freeport. Be sure to visit LL Bean. After spending some time in Freeport, we will leave for Kennebunkport for lunch (on own) and a tour of Ocean drive. You will arrive home early evening.
