H & L Bloom was established in 1946 by Harry and Lillian Bloom. We have evolved from the original gas station on Cohannet Street to the multi-faceted transportation organization we have today. We have been fortunate in our continuous growth and modernization. This is mainly a result of the founding philosophy of providing safe and reliable transportation at a reasonable cost.
Bloom Bus consists of two companies, H & L Bloom, Inc. and Bloom's Bus Lines, Inc. H & L Bloom provides reliable school bus transportation to Taunton and the surrounding communities. We have a fleet of over 200 vehicles including vans, sedans, and buses. The garage and corporate offices are located at the end of Grosvenor Street in Taunton.
Bloom's Bus Lines provides over the road motorcoach services throughout the United States and Canada. We also operate a commuter line service from the Taunton area to Boston. We have been providing regular commuter route service between the Taunton area and Boston since 1979. We have a fleet of over 20 coaches which is continuously upgraded with modern amenities. The garage and ticket offices are located within the Bloom Bus Terminal at 10 Oak Street in Taunton.
Although there are two companies with separate management staff and professional drivers, the original Bloom philosophy remains; safe and timely transportation at a reasonable cost.
